Red Rose Wedding Cake with Drapes

Red Rose Wedding Cake with Drapes

I made a wedding cake for a very good friend of mine that was getting married :)
This was a very important step for her and she was really excited about her wedding, so I thought it would be nice if I made their cake and gave it to her as a wedding gift!  Her color was burgundy and the wedding was beautiful!  Maybe she can get on this blog and upload some pictures of the wedding :)  but I have some Pictures of the cake!

I had a help from my sister in law Yohana.  She made some adorable penguin cake toppers!  But I gave it to them separate so that they can place them where ever they want.

Cookie Monster Cake

Cookie Monster Cake

Cookie Monster is one of my favorite characters!  He is so cute and I happen to be a cookie monster myself :)  I love, love, love cookies!!!  I would forgive almost anything for a cookie!  ALMOST anything!

I made this birthday cake for a teenager that wanted a cookie monster cake!  She loves Cookie Monster.  My friend Marisol helped me with this cake, it was a lot of fun!

Pirate Cake

Pirate Cake

I needed to make a Pirate Cake and I thought that making the skull out of fondant was going to be a piece of cake but BOY was I wrong!  My sister Connie was helping me with this cake and I think we were both going crazy with that darn skull!!  But oh well... it wasn't exactly what I wanted but that night we made 3 cakes and I worked that day so we were pretty much out of time and completely tired.

18th Birthday Cake

Birthday Hooter Cake

My nephew was turning 18 and his crazy mother... my sister Connie, wanted to give him a crazy cake, so she wanted me to make him a cake with his first set of boobs!  LOL
All his friends were there at the party and when she came out with the cake all his friends started yelling "you have the coolest mom ever!!!".  I was beginning to think she did this for her own ego and not his!  Whatever the case... it was really funny!

Radio Logo Cake

Puro Pari Cake

My husband is a DJ... and I never tell him this but he is a really good one! :)
I'm afraid if I tell him then his ego might get a little too big... and there is no way that I'm going to deal with that!  LOL

So my husband Ernie (DJ Ernie Kool) DJ's for this Internet radio station KGRW Radio, you can find it at www.gruvworks.com. The show is called Puro Pari Radio (PPR) and the host is Albert.
Albert was going to be having a Birthday and his PPR Crew wanted to throw him a surprise Birthday Party.  They wanted me to make his cake!  So I went with the PPR logo!  It was a small and simple cake but Albert loved it!  He thanked me like 20 x's :) and he refused to cut the cake!  I believe he ended up cutting the cake like 2 days later or something like that.

Minecraft Birthday!

Brandon's Minecraft Birthday Party

My son turned 9 years old and we had  so much fun making everything!  My sisters are incredible... they helped me with so much!  They made most of the decorations!  My son loved, loved his party!

Zebra Print _Princess Cake

Zebra Princess Cake

My niece Kassandra turned 13 and although she was ready to be a "Teenager" she also was not ready to let go and not be daddy's princess anymore!
So she was very specific about her cake!  Zebra Print with a Princess Crown! :)
What she later realized was that it doesn't matter how old she turns... she will forever be daddy's girl and princess!

Quinceanera Cake

This cake was for a Quinceanera!  Her colors were Turquoise and Lavender!  I thought it needed a little more but they turned out happy with it just the way it was!

Black Ops Cake

"Black Ops" I'm sure everyone has either played or know someone who is hooked on that game!  I know I do!  So this cake was also for my friend Irene, the same one that I made the Mickey Mouse cake for, and as a matter of fact... it was for the same day and same party! It was going to be a double party for 2 of her grandkids.  This cake was going to be for a 10 year old boy....  he took some awesome pictures with the cake!  Maybe she'll sign on and share them. :)

My Brother Julio and my sister in law Yohana helped me with this cake!  They got down with the gun and grenade.  And only one person caught this, but if you look closely... the name tag is a dog tag with a chain that wraps around the cake.  I thought it looked really cool.

Mickey Mouse Luau Birthday Cake

A good friend of mine asked me for a Birthday cake for her adorable grandson's 2nd Birthday.  The theme of the party was going to be luau, but she wanted the cake to have Mickey Mouse on it!  So I tried my best to combine both ideas.   My favorite thing about children's cakes is that you can make them really busy and the kids love them, the more you add the nicer they look!  but the cakes for adults are the complete opposite,  you have to know when to stop because if you add a lot, they tend to look tacky.
