Quinceanera Cake

This cake was for a Quinceanera!  Her colors were Turquoise and Lavender!  I thought it needed a little more but they turned out happy with it just the way it was!

Black Ops Cake

"Black Ops" I'm sure everyone has either played or know someone who is hooked on that game!  I know I do!  So this cake was also for my friend Irene, the same one that I made the Mickey Mouse cake for, and as a matter of fact... it was for the same day and same party! It was going to be a double party for 2 of her grandkids.  This cake was going to be for a 10 year old boy....  he took some awesome pictures with the cake!  Maybe she'll sign on and share them. :)

My Brother Julio and my sister in law Yohana helped me with this cake!  They got down with the gun and grenade.  And only one person caught this, but if you look closely... the name tag is a dog tag with a chain that wraps around the cake.  I thought it looked really cool.

Mickey Mouse Luau Birthday Cake

A good friend of mine asked me for a Birthday cake for her adorable grandson's 2nd Birthday.  The theme of the party was going to be luau, but she wanted the cake to have Mickey Mouse on it!  So I tried my best to combine both ideas.   My favorite thing about children's cakes is that you can make them really busy and the kids love them, the more you add the nicer they look!  but the cakes for adults are the complete opposite,  you have to know when to stop because if you add a lot, they tend to look tacky.

Baby Monkey Cake

A co worker is pregnant with a baby boy and she asked me to make her, her baby shower cake with lots of monkeys.  I wasn't sure how I was going to accomplish that but it was actually kind of easy, but very time consuming.  I had so much fun making all the baby monkeys that I wanted to keep them for my self :)  but that would have been a little bit selfish.

Her party was over a week ago and she loved her cake!  She said that everyone wanted to take her monkeys and she refused but 2 got away!  I'm glad she loved her cake because it is definitely one of my favorite.

Minnie Mouse Buttercream Cake

Sad day... to find that my baby girl Layla is not a baby anymore :(  She just turned 5 Years old and will now attend school!  Since we decided to not have any more children, it makes me very sad to know that my little one is growing up.  But you know something Layla... I don't care how old you get, you will always be my baby girl <3

She wanted her Birthday theme to be Minnie Mouse but she wanted Pink because that is her favorite color, so of course... I would do exactly what made her happy, and she was.

My awesome sister Connie helped me with the cupcakes!  She had fun with all the buttercream swirls and sprinkles.  She also made her Invitations, decorations and party bags!  I am blessed to have the family that I have... they always help me without me even having to ask, and if I did ask they would do it even quicker :)  My sister in law and my brother got her Jumper and Pinata!  The Minnie mouse Pinata was taller then me!  and she was full of candy, so full that it was hard to lift her off the ground!  Minnie Mouse needed to go on a diet! :)
